print art making!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello this is my blog, my name is shiloh these pass 3/2 weeks we have been doing print making
this what we had to do
1. Make a draft design on a piece of paper
2. make the real design
3. Do it on foam
4. do it deeper into the foam so you can feel it
5. get the ink rollers and put ink on them
6. roll the ink onto the foam
7. get a big piece of paper
8. put the foam that has ink onto the paper and get a clean roller and go over it
9.leave it to dry.
Heres how mine turned out i did a mandala BTS logo!

  3. Kia ora Shiloh,
I'm Thom from Yaldhurst Model School.
Before I even started reading the blog I was just thinking to myself, WOW! Those are awesome designs on that piece of paper, But to be honest before I read the blog I didn't think you would have to go through all those steps just to make a design, I thought you had just literally drawn it on paper, But I guess if you hadn't gone through all those steps it wouldn't look as cool as it does now, I mean it would still probably look cool, Just not as awesome as it is now.

Did you enjoy this activity? How come your class decided to do this activity? Had you done this activity before now? Would you recommend others to do this activity? Sorry about all the questions I'm just curious, Because it's really awesome the patterns you've done so I'm super interested about it.

Next time maybe say why you decided to do this pattern or in other words what your inspiration was. I remember once ages ago we drew patterns in my class, Except they were Maori patterns, But it wasn't as cool as this because we just drew a plan and then drew the actual think on another piece of paper, I really enjoyed that activity and they turned out to be really cool and awesome.

    Great work.
    Goodbye.
    -Thom.

  5. Hi Sihol, I am Eamon from YMS Rimu, And all I have to say is WOW!

These are flat out amazing, these look so good! and The instructions make ToTAL sense. And I really like the way you have laid out the instructions! It looks good and it is really easy to read. And the Numbering was perfect, and in chronological order.

This brought me back to when I made my first ever mandala art! I thought it looked so cool!

And If you want to improve..
Maybe you could explain what a BTS logo is! I know, but maybe other may not know what that even is.

    BYE!!

  7. Hi there!

My name is Matilda and I am a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey this year! I’ve noticed that you haven’t done any of the activities yet. Our finish date is the 24th of January but there is still time to give it a go and start gaining some points!

What an amazing post! I really enjoyed it! It was so clever of you to make this! What was your favourite step?

The Summer Learning Journey has heaps of activities to choose from! Here is the link. Have a look through and find some activities you like the looks of. I’m looking forward to seeing which ones you choose! (There are a few activities where you get to be creative like this! I bet you'd be good at those ones!)

Remember if you have any questions all you have to do is ask!

Can’t wait to hear from you!

    Matilda :)
